As 2011 comes to a close we have many reasons to celebrate here at Apps for Homeschooling!

Our website now has over 100 detailed reviews of homeschooling educational apps sorted by grade, subject, device, and cost!

We now have over 1500+ Twitter followers and 2000+ Facebook fans (if you don’t already like us, please do – half the party is over there, nightly promo code giveaways Monday-Friday!)

We’ve also purchased an Android tablet in order to write more reviews for our Droid-device loving homeschool moms!

With so much to celebrate we’re having a giveaway for one $25 iTunes GC code (US only!)  It’s going to be a new year, a new semester, families have new devices, and we all most certainly could use some new apps!

GIVEAWAY DETAILS:

I have a $25 iTunes Gift Card to the US iTunes store to giveaway to one winner to spend on apps for your homeschool.  You must have a US iTunes account to redeem this card.  I will be emailing the card code to the selected winner by email instead of sending a physical card.

To enter let me know some of the apps you’d like to purchase with $25 to spend on homeschooling, educational apps!  Bonus entries available below, please leave an additional comment for each!

  45. Some that we’ve enjoyed this year: Stack the States & Presidents vs Aliens, Math Top-It, Rocket Math, MindSnacks French & Blob Chorus. MathBlaster was too hard for my 7yo – not the math part, but the aiming/shooting part. If I had to pick a favorite it would be Presidents vs Aliens, but I play it more than the kids!

  51. I asked my kids what their favorite app was. They couldn’t decide between Stack the States/Countries or Hyper Blast. I have to say though that they never miss a day to watch Brain Pop, so that is probably the most used app around here.
