The much-loved Old Schoolhouse Magazine is now available for free, in a handy, practical digital edition that is served up directly to the free app of your choice (available in several operating system platforms). This app has made it onto my 'no-brainer' list of apps to have loaded on my devices, it just makes sense to install this easy to navigate magazine that is always filled with helpful insights and encouragement for homeschooling parents.

I’m always excited to see apps developed to bring families closer together, and this one is particularly valuable for families separated by work (fathers who are in the military, who travel for work, long-distance truck drivers etc.), extended family members, and even for families where one parent works a shift where they miss out on important moments in a child’s routine – like bedtimes or meal times. This app could even be used during extended hospital stays – there are many situations it could be called into use for.
