Children will love this story and in the process, they will learn about the places, people and animals of the islands of French Polynesia. This book also has intuitive settings, including nice narration that can be set up for French or English. My little one is already asking about the next adventure in this series, and I predict yours will too. Recommended!

Motivated Moms 2013 is a pre-filled master chore planner that arrives filled with both daily tasks and less frequently scheduled chores that also allows you to add your own chores. The wonderful sorting and display options help to clearly display who is responsible for each task and the app provides just enough customization and flexibility. Intuitive, open-and-go AND tailor-made; I’m impressed!

The Cat in the Hat is obviously a 'must have' in any collection, whether it's a digital library or a set of hardcover books with gilded pages. This version is no exception, with bright beautiful pictures of the beloved classic Dr. Seuss. For the read-a-long effect, each word is highlighted as it is read. Although each page is essentially a still image, many pages begin by panning over Seuss' classic original artwork, zooming in and out to show off each segment of text, a nice semi-animated style.

The much-loved Old Schoolhouse Magazine is now available for free, in a handy, practical digital edition that is served up directly to the free app of your choice (available in several operating system platforms). This app has made it onto my 'no-brainer' list of apps to have loaded on my devices, it just makes sense to install this easy to navigate magazine that is always filled with helpful insights and encouragement for homeschooling parents.

Stack N’ Puzzles is not only hugely fun with its interactive completed vehicle puzzles and reconstructed town puzzle, but also provides support for first-words style early language development with the English language option turned on.
